Welcome to the Stratford Camera Club Website

The Stratford Camera Club's objective is to encourage members in their photographic endeavors, provide instruction and opportunities to improve their skills through club competitions, outings, and guest speakers. We encourage social interaction within the club and with other camera clubs. We will make use of our affiliation with the Canadian Association for Photographic Arts, (CAPA) to broaden our opportunities and objectives.

To this end we are always looking for new members and encourage you to come to our meeting on September 6th 2011, and our regular monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of every month (except for June, July, and August) at Gallery Stratford (on Romeo St.).

SCC Summer 2012 Scavenger Hunt Topics

All images are to be captured between April 15th and October 15th, 2012. Only one image per topic is to be submitted, so get your creative juices flowing.

Images may be manipulated using basics only but images are preferred to be un-manipulated. For the category “double exposure”, you may do this in camera or using a software program.

Images used to make one image must work together. It is an exercise in “preconceived vision” and discovering how it is done. For self-portrait, do not use reflections of yourself, but get out in front of the camera.

The Categories Are:
  1. Solitude   2. Moving
  3. Night time   4. Panning
  5. Painting with Light   6. Up Close
  7. Far Away   8. Water
  9. Green 10. Patterns
11. Self-portrait 12. Bottles
